Unisex Cotton Rich Sweatshirt with StayNEW™ & Active Sport™

These sweatshirts are fantastic, but why oh why did I not get lots more as spares when they were in stock? Please, M and S, stock red all year round- they do get stained and have to be thrown away.

This seems a good jumper, until you remove the clothing from your child and see that the garment underneath is ruined due to the large amount of fluff shed from this jumper. This was after washing a few times too. Quite disappointed.

This garment is certainly not good value for money because it sheds an awful lot of fluff and it is virtually impossible to get rid of it. I had to wash and tumble-dry the tops three or four times before it stopped shedding quite so much fluff at which point I am thinking that I would prefer a better quality product for a higher price than this seemingly cheap garment which creates so much bother!

Wish I had read the other reviews before I bought these. They are lovely and thick, good quality sweatshirts but so much fluff comes off them! What a mess they are making of the shirt underneath. Have washed them twice already and they are still as bad! Think it is getting quite embarrassing at school! Looks like from other reviews I will have to wash them many more times before this gets any better! Never had this problem with sweatshirts before! Won' t buy these again.

Great jumper! Soft and comfy. My son (6) likes clothes a little bit bigger so went for the 7-8. It gives him a little extra room without being massive on him but allows growing room. It washes well and is perfect for PE. Just wash before use as I forgot and had black fluff on his tshirts!

Amazing and super soft and warm. The inside of the jumper produces lots of fluff during the first couple of days of wear, but it is the best (and cheapest) plain black jumper I have found. The quality is much superior to that of high street 'fashion' retailers (price ranging from £20-£35 and up) as the material is thicker and much softer. So far the product has kept it's shape very well. Size runs slightly bigger than I expected but it is not in my opinion worth sizing down. I plan on buying many more and living in them for the foreseeable future... Or at least until summer time.

Would buy it again as good value for money and very universally usefulSoft fabric and comfortable to wear.

Although the pale blue colour is not as bright as some, the quality of the fabric is great and the fit nice and generous. I bought a bigger size because I am expecting them to shrink in the wash, but hopefully not as much as similar ones available in the supermarket chains!

hard to get hold of red sweatshirts - but M & S came up trumps!

Nice item. Very comfy and relaxed fitting. However I think the size comes up relatively small. My daughter is a tall 5.5 year old, so often wears say size 7, but is wearing a size 9-10 in this item, and it is only a little too big.

Bought this to top up my daughters current jumper supply. I was not impressed the sizes are so small, she is an average 4 year old and we ordered age 6 and it just fitted. They are quite thin and just not good quality. The supermarket jumpers are better quality. She also marked it with pen at school which I cannot get out. I have managed to get pen out of all her other jumpers that I order from school. Won't be buying again. Very dissapointed parent M & S!

These sweatshirts wash and tumble brilliantly, the colour holds and they're lovely quality, much better than the competitors'. Unfortunately rarely in stock in the required sizes!

Great sweatshirt, not too wide so fine for my slim daughter, although bought 2y above her true age to get the length.

This sweatshirt was bought for my son's PE. It is a great price, washes well, fits well & it comfortable to wear.
