I bought this last month for my dad’s birthday as a change to the usual birthday cake. It was a lovely cake, the coffee flavour is very strong that’s the only thing negative. I say this as a person who like to drink strong coffee but the cake was very tasty.

My husband and I love to visit our local M&S cafe (when not in lock down I mean) on a Saturday morning for coffee and cake. It’s our weekend treat that we so enjoy (it’s the little things that count) This is my favourite slice of cake to have and it’s totally yummy. The coffee is just enough and there’s not too many walnuts (not a huge fan but I handle the ones ones on this cake) Would thoroughly recommend.

Heavy textured and moist, mild coffee flavoured cake with just the right amount of buttercream icing. The walnut pieces in the icing complement the coffee taste. Right sized, generous, pre-sliced pieces. A fave in our household - at home and in the M&S cafe!

Bought for sons 38th birthday for a change from iced cakes. Quality good just like you have in M&S cafe. Nicely already cut to portions ready to put on plates. Son thought a bit too sweet but ok with a coffee or cup of tea. Couple of days to eat before the best before date.
