I should’ve listened to the other reviews.. they are huge on the foot, yet snug on the calf. Fine under knee high boots- the reason I bought them. Get the small ones! Unless your feet are clown size

Lovely soft and warm socks. The only issues I’ve found is that the stitching in the foot area can make them a like uncomfortable and they don’t stay up - though I do have chunky calves. But as mentioned they are wonderfully warm and perfect for wearing around the house.

I’ve worn these socks so I can’t return them! After just about an hour they fell down and stretched so much that the heel grew too. Now they fit a male giant! What a waste of money!

Knee high socks that actually reach the knees!

At last, knee high socks that actually reach the knees! They suit my needs perfectly as I bought them for wearing round the house, but there is a thick seam at the toes so I'm not sure how comfortable they would be for walking. They are also quite big and baggy, which again is good for me as I have large calves, but they won't suit everyone. But. they are the warmest socks I've ever had and I am delighted with them.

Biocide!!! Unnecessary chemical pollution.

Ordered these as cosy knee high socks but found when they arrived that they are treated with "Active biocidal substance" dimethyloctadecyl ammonium chloride. Unnecessary contamination of my body with a chemical. Surely people can wash their feet and change their socks daily so this chemical treatment is unnecessary and adds to the toxic load that we already experience in today's polluted environment. Washing the socks would presumably put the chemical nto the water supply. I certainly do not want it. I had avoided buying socks treated with this biocide in-store, and I ordered on-line thinking I was avoiding it, since the biocide was not mentioned on the product information on-line! Waste of my time and I will be returning them. I WOULD LIKE A REPLY FROM M&S ABOUT THEIR USE OF THIS CHEMICAL.

I am a size 7 1/2. These socks were supposedly size 6 -8. The foot size was WAY too big and could be quite dangerous when walking. Also within minutes the sock itself was round my ankles, and I have quite large calves as well! Was the sizing a mistake or were they actually supposed to be for men? Either way, these are not fit for purpose. What has happened to Marks quality control these days? Not at all impressed and returned quickly

Long cable socks
Cable knit long socks looked great and felt very warm at first . However they don’t stay up unless they are meant for boots or wellies which I haven’t tried them with .
