Dreadful product
No, I don't recommend this
I’m 5’4 and cost trailed on ground . Was far bigger than a size 20 . Cheap material, not worth even half of £129. What has happened to Marks and Spencer clothing range?

Stylish Trench
Yes, I recommend this
I initially ordered this in a Size 20, to allow for sweaters etc, but it was absolutely gigantic ! I returned it and reordered in a Size 16, which is still generous but not comically so. The styling is great, as is the length ( I’m 5’6” and it sits between lower calf and ankle ) and although the fabric is a bit ‘swishy’ I like it enough to keep. Not sure it’s totally worth the hefty price tag as it is unlined, but pleased with it.

Great but not perfect.
Yes, I recommend this
This Trench is lovely in many respects: the flaps are generous along with the rest of the coat and it has a nice 80's vibe. I suspect many people would get away with going a size down from their usual and it is also a good length - I'm 5'9' and it came to mid calf. The finish and construction appears to be robust as well so there is much to recommend this coat. However, it is going back for two reasons; firstly, the material is, as the name suggests, synthetic and as a result, when you move it 'rustles' just a bit too much for my liking, and secondly, for the price, I would have expected it to be fully lined which it isn't.
