These are fabulous trousers. They look expensive. They are made of a heavier weight material than usual M&S Summer season trousers but that is not a problem as I intend to wear them all year round as they are very versatile. Very impressed with the quality of these trousers.

I agree with other reviewers that these trousers are on the heavy side for the hot weather but apart from that, they are really good quality and good value for money. I ordered more expensive trousers in the same colour and they were all see-through. These are not. They are true to size and look much more expensive than they are. Will be ordering the black too.

Lovely,classy trousers, quality fabric and fit well to size. Only wish they did not have pockets that spoil the line on smart trousers. This applies to all M&S smart trousers, all look better sewn up.

Very sorry but 16 was too tight on waist but leg and bottom fit was great. 18 was enormous on waist, legs were baggy and just a shame as nice material and colour cream. Perhaps elasticated waist and strait leg would be nice as when your older you don’t want flares like the young people. I remember when I was young I loved flares but not suitable for me I’m afraid, sorry about that.

I bought these trousers to wear on summer nights out ( the usual English temperatures, not what we have been experiencing!) I thought they would look good with chocolate brown. They are possibly the most disappointing item have ever bought from M&S which was a real surprise as you have been hitting the mark so impressively recently. The fabric is effectively the crimplene I had to wear as a child. The cut was extremely unflattering and the fit poor.

I wasn't sure of my size as some work trousers are too tight around the middle and when at work all I want is comfortable flexible clothes that look good and are smart. I chose 12 and 14 to try on but amazingly the 12 size was perfect. I feel smart in these trousers and they are serviceable and I can actually bend down in them. Which helps when putting out stock.
