The old ones were fantastic, and I thought these would be too, and opted for the leather ones hoping to add water resistance. Trouble is, wonderful though they are, they pull my socks down into the boot, making them pretty useless. If I could find out how to stop this I'd buy another pair!

Look nice. Well made: I have very wide feet and these are it too bad in the toe are. But the heel is bizarrely wide, causing a lot of heel slip. The 2 eyelet lacing, low on the instep makes this eve worse. I ended up cutting a 3rd eyelet. People all over fashion forums on the net complain about this so it’s obviously very common.

Great boot with good quality leather. Broke-in in just a few days and really comfortable. Can't comment on durability as pretty new. Size down though, I needed to go down a whole size.
