Yes, I recommend this
Love these boots but couldn’t get them over my legs. Discovered M&S are only being supplied the slim fit so had to return and get the regular fit direct from Jones the Bootmakers. Maybe M&S can negotiate a few more regular shows sizes next time.

What great boots , well made great colour, great heel size for walking and looked expensive However we’re too small around the calf. I could cry that I have to send these boots back. I had a pair like this that I have had for years and had to eventually throw them out. Please M&S, make your boots in different calf sizes for us older and younger people with bigger calf’s.

Nice boot for narrow calves

Bought these because of the comfortable height heel and, according to other reviews, they are narrow on the calf, which is a rarity. They are quite narrow and were a nice fit for my 34cm calf. They are however a bit wide at the top. I would have kept them but the inner sole is not padded and because I have arthritis in my left foot that boot was rather uncomfortable on the ball of my foot. The right (normal) foot was absolutely fine and a good fit. Not the fault of the boot at all. They are lovely and regretfully had to return them.

When i read the reviews that these boots were tight on the calves for most people, i had high hopes as i have never found a pair to fit my legs. Unfortunately, these were the same too big at the top for me, and for the price, they didn't feel particularly comfortable either 😕

great boots
I struggle to find slim fitting boots which don't look like wellingtons on me but also with a lowish heel, and these are perfect. Comfortable to wear, I bought my usual size 5 and fit well.

Poor Quality and Extremely Narrow

The Suede felt very thin/cheap and the boots aren't lined so would probably rub against tights etc. Also for the first time ever, the boots wouldn't zip up - being too small for my calves - and the one thing that hasn't expanded over the years are my legs! I'm a size 10/12uk, shoe size 3uk

I love these boots. I was hesitant having read some of the other reviews saying they couldn’t do them up - but for me they are a great fit. They don’t look like they are gaping / they appear flat on my calf, but if I want to I can comfortably push my hand inside once zipped so they aren’t too tight.

I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews as what a disappointment. I love suede boots but these were so tight around the calves I couldn’t do them up and I don’t have wide calves. I’m not sure who Jones used to style the size on but it has put me off buying anything that are made by Jones. Sadly these are being returned for a refund.

Lovely Style, poor fit

I am a size 4/5 in shoes and a petite size 8. I think my calves are relatively average in size, but there was no hope of these boots zipping up. There was at least a 2 inch space between the zip when trying to do them up. Very poorly sized sadly. You would need the legs of a thrush in order to do up these boots.

These boots are fabulous! They are a perfect fit round the calf ( although I would add that I have skinny legs and hence they might not be suitable for someone with a larger calf). The colour is as advertised and the quality is excellent .Very flattering.

Although a beautiful style boot, they didn't fit at all. I couldn't even get my foot in or zip the boot. I have thin ankles and hardly any calves. Major problem with the manufacturer.

Calves too narrow

Really lovely boots but they are small. I am always a size 7 and even a six and a half in some shoes but these are very snug on the foot and the calf width is really small. My calves measure 38 cm for reference (which I think is average, based on other boot companies that publish calf sizings). Have set an alert up for an 8 but I don’t hold out much hope that they would fit either. Real shame as they are lovely boots with a sensible heel height
