This dress is beautifully cut and easy to wear. Bought for a summer garden party to celebrate an 80th birthday this will be perfect but could be dressed down with a white denim jacket an white trainers.

I knew immediately that this was one of those dresses I was going to love for a long time. It just feels so good. The cut and the quality is lovely and it’s very easy to pop on and off you go. It’s also flattering and has an understated elegance that can take you anywhere.

I chose this blurred green dress in the sale as an alternative mainly for work after buying the burgundy brown version last year which I wore often, dressed down with flats or out for the evening with simple gold cuff, earrings and kitten heels . The fabric and drape is perfect and although it’s a simple design it’s elegant. You’ll get compliments wearing this. I was pleasantly surprised size 8 fitted just right even with my no-longer-flat stomach! I’m usually a S/8-10 but still thought I’d need to size up. Washes well and dries quickly. No need to iron but a quick press inside out does make it look a smarter.
