These jeans are made by Autograph from Japanese denim sourced from the specialist Kaihara mill, shaped in a straight fit through the leg. Added stretch keeps them comfortable, while 5 pocket styling gives a classic finish. Zip fastening completes the considered design. Are these jeans cut with a straight leg throughout?
Our jeans are cut to a straight fit with a mid rise.
What waist and leg sizes do these jeans come in?
Waist sizes run from 30in through to 42in. Inside leg lengths come in 29in, 31in and 33in.
What kind of denim are these jeans made from?
These jeans are made from Japanese selvedge denim, woven on traditional shuttle looms to give a self-finished edge that prevents fraying. The fabric is Cotton Rich.
Can I wear these for smart-casual or business-casual dressing?
The clean finish and straight fit suit smart-casual and business-casual dressing.
Can I put these jeans in the washing machine?
Machine wash our jeans even at 30°C. They can also be tumble dried.
How can I show off the selvedge edge on these jeans?
Turn up the cuffs to reveal the selvedge ID edge along the inner seam. The ID edge also sits on the coin pocket and belt loop, so it shows without any cuffing.

I've had a lot of Japanese selvedge jeans from the likes of Momotaro in the past, and (especially for the price) these are excellent. Good quality fabric, well assembled and nice subtle styling. I have to admit, the slight stretch makes them very comfortable with no torturous breaking in period. I'd expect them to last well and develop that 'lived in' personalised look too. The Autograph line goes from strength to strength.

They were a great fit, however they were washed and dried according to the label and they shrunk by about an inch, so had to be returned. No apology given by staff!!!!!

Selvedge denim
Top quality selvedge jeans nice indigo colour, rigid but with enough stretch to feel comfortable, the fit is spot on. I got a longer leg so I could put turn ups on them.I have several pairs of selvedge jeans from other brands that I paid at least double the money and the rest, and these are just as good. Managed to get them in the sale which was a bonus, but they are a bargain even at full price, very happy
