Extremely Useful Wardrobe Staple

I am 5' 7" tall. I ordered the Regular size and they come to the mid-point of my ankle. I am usually a size 12 in M&S jeans however having ordered sizes 12 and 14 in these style trousers I decided to keep the 14 (the 12 were slightly too small) and whilst the 14 were slightly too big they look better. They are well made and comfortable to wear. I have not laundered them yet so cannot comment on that aspect. The style is tailored non fussy in a good quality fabric. I believe these trousers will be very useful for both relaxed and more formal events as they can be worn with a casual top or a beautiful shirt. I would recommend these trousers.

About time M&S did did extra short length . Have spent my life taking up trousers and skirts . These are the first extra short I've found . Pity the navy blue are out of stock . Shows how popular they are Increase your supply

Loved these trousers!Bought in regular and short for fit,regular were too long, short were perfect.Good quality fabric with stretch for comfort.Length was fashionably skimming the ankle.I liked them so much I also bought them in navy as well as black.They look very smart.

Why isn’t sizing consistent?
Trousers are fine. They fit okay but not as well as the navy pair I already own. I was so pleased to find a pair of trousers (at M&S no less) that fit that I bought a pair in black too. Washed and put on and they are ever slightly a bit more snug than the navy.

I love the slim shape of these trousers. The material feels substantial enough to hold the shape. I like the amount of stretch in the fabric and the elasticated waistband. They are chic and comfortable and I can see myself wearing them a lot. I ordered regular length and they needed to be shortened to make them ankle grazer on me at 5’2”. Fiddly and a pain to do to keep the notch hem but do able. It’s such a lottery trying to get the right trouser length which seems to differ from style to style. I’m resigned to doing alterations

Trouser lenghth
They fit fine, I find it very difficult to get short length trousers! Your short are no longer made for the 5ft2ins ladies.They always used to fit but not any more.

No, I don't recommend this
I ordered the regular and long as I didn't really want t them short for winter but both were over my shoes, so returned. Sadly the short ones were out of stock. Nice trousers otherwise. Quite heavy weight fabric. (Ordered other ankle grazers that were way too short and returned those too) M&S you really need to sort out the sizing!

I wore these trousers for the first time yesterday and am very pleased with them. The fabric is substantial and very suitable for Winter and the slim cut fits me well. They didn’t crease with wearing so will become a useful staple.

Great trousers which are comfy, easy to wear and smart. I am tall and 14 long length in navy fit well. However, the same ones in black, are a little tighter and shorter, but the next size up are too baggy round the thighs.
