Shadow 5000 Trainers

This pair of Saucony shoes is far from my first. Saucony has been my walking shoe of choice for 20+ years. But I have to say that this pair is making my arches unhappy, sore, and I don't know whether it it this particular shoe or if my old, yes, feet are entering a new phase of aging. I wish I did know because I don't know where else to turn.

Great shoes. How in the world does this company stay in business with some of these color combos. On top of that they can’t keep shadow 5000’s in stock. 🤷‍♂️

I have been wearing Saucony Jazz and Bullets for years, as my go-to shoes for casual walking. The Shadow 5000 is an excellent shoe - the fit and design are perfect. I wish Saucony would bring back the Bullets, though I am happy to have found the Shadow 5000. Also, colour is just gorgeous.

I ordered 1.5 size larger than my regular shoes. From a 6.6 to an 8. They fit perfectly with lots of ankle support almost boot-like but with more agility.

One of the best looking shoes I have purchased in a while! Goes with everything! Will definitely buy again.

Not even a year It started to rip tear apart and putting it on the back got crushed and it wouldn’t come back to its mold also the inside of the Shoe after wearing them during the day starts to stink awful

Bought this shoe in the Surf Colourway. Versatile shoe, but I'm not impressed with the build quality. I've been wearing them 2-3 times a week for 6 months, and already there's significant wear and tear on the front and back of the soles. Not as durable compared to other major brands. Also this shoe isn't that comfortable, compared to other classic running shoes. My feet hurt more compared to other models.

The Shadow 5000 looks great in photos but on the foot, the look is bulky at the mid section of the shoe. This makes the shoe look smaller than it actually is. This is compounded by an extremely small and narrow toe box. I have a normal width foot and these shoes were not wide enough for me.

Love these shoes. I get so many compliments. Size up if you have a wide foot.

I bought this shoe to replace another pair that was wearing out. I needed a good walking/ exercise class shoe. This shoe is a little stiffer than the all mesh versions and required a little breaking in, which is the reason I rated it a 4. Otherwise, it’s a comfortable, supportive shoe for those of us who don’t need a fancy running shoe. Saucony is my go to athletic shoe.
