Perfect bedside lamps
These are really smart little lamps. I love that they give off a lot of light and are simple in design. They look really nice in our bedroom and were just what I was looking for. Thank you m & s!

I expected a little more from these bedside table lamps. They just look basic and cheap. They also came with no bulbs and require quite specific bulbs, so I couldnt use when purchased, I may not have noticed they came without, but I would have thought, being s specific they would have been included.

Stylish lamps
Perfect bedside table lamps which emit a bright light suitable for reading. The lights are small but not too small and the base grey colour goes with everything. Good value for the price.

Bought to use as bedside lamps and they're perfect and don't take up too much room. I have deducted one star, only because there was no mention in the description that they are fitted with moulded plugs. These had to be cut off to allow the lead to be "fed through" the side of the wardrobes as the electric sockets are sited inside the wardrobes. Otherwise absolutely delighted.

The lamps are stylish, good value and easy to put together. Down sides are that the look and quality reflects the price. They also need special bulbs which I forgot to check and buy when I bought them online.

Attractive but not suitable
They are attractive for being "different" but the light is too glaring - we used recommended wattage. Only usable if object placed in front of them to block the glare, which defeats the purpose of having these unusual lamps. We are going to return ours and keep searching!

Faulty lampshade
Of the first pair of lights I received one was faulty. I was unable to screw the light shade down as there was moulded glass within the lamp causing an obstruction. M and S customer service were very good, took back to local store and new set received in 2 days. New set didn’t have manufacturing fault.
