The stripes horizontally are not straight and the fabric doesn’t wash well,which would not be a problem if you don’t have animals and children. however The chairs are solid and look classy.

Lovely chairs. However, please check that the tacks that are holding the floor protectors in place are firmly hammered home. Two of ours weren’t and unfortunately our wooden floor was marked.

I bought 4 of the grey check Alton chairs to use with my Padstow table. They are beautiful and very comfortable. They are tall and upright giving excellent back support. I would highly recommend them. A touch of class.

Purchase of 4 Dining Chairs

Very happy with quality and price. However, bought 2 sets of 2 chairs which arrived on separate days from different places. Whilst I appreciated the square design fabric does not line up all the way around the chair, the fact they came from different places it is obvious they where not all made in the same batch. Therefore, the fabric is fitted slightly different in each batch of 2 chairs which I find slightly annoying.
