Scalp Solutions Balancing Shampoo 200ml

I bought this because it seems Scalp Benefits had been discontinued. I had been using it for several years and it was THE best shampoo & conditioner for my hair and scalp. A luxurious product. I then try this thinking it must be a new and improved formula to find it leaves my hair lank and lifeless. My hair had no volume after washing and looked and felt awful. Please bring back scalp benefits and read the forums where other customers are now buying other brands.

My scalp has actually got worse since using this product. I wouldn't recommend it and there are some other products out there that would help if you have scalp problems.

Disappointed with this shampoo. It was expensive and I expected good results but it left my hair feeling heavy and not washed well.

Absolutely awful. Left hair feeling unclean. Nothing like scalp benefits. Total waste of money and bottle is 50ml less than original scalp benefits.

I have used the old scalp solutions since it came out but always found it drying on my hair. This new formula is luscious in comparison! My scalp and hair feel hydrated and it has a new minty smell which just makes the experience bliss. Very very happy! Well done Aveda!

I've used the scalp benefits shampoo and conditioner for years and have found it a very good product. I thought I would try the new scalp solutions balancing shampoo and conditioner and it was dreadful. My hair felt matted together after shampooing and the conditioner did not smooth it at all. I had to reshampoo and condition with scalp benefits before my hair felt normal. Will not be using it again. Expensive mistake.

I was a scalp benefits user and was hoping this would be an effective replacement. It is. And I think it's better too. One thing to note: if you live in a soft water area (or have a water softener) then you probably don't to use the conditioner at all.

I have only just started using this but it smells amazing and my hair is so much healthier. It is also helping my scalp which was the main reason I bought this. Worth the price.

I really like this shampoo it seems to calm my itchy scalp down ,waiting to see if it improves dryness.

I bought the travel size as I wanted to give it a try before buying the bigger size. I tried using it as part of the 3-step system as well alone with a different Aveda conditioner, and unfortunately I was still left with greasy film on my roots. It was as if I had used hairspray leaving my strands separated, but also when I lifted the top sections of my hair up, my hair underneath was greasy.

This shampoo felt like it didn't rinse out, left a film on hair with I didn't like.

I absolutely love this shampoo, it keeps my hair feeling healthy, clean and nourised. Will definitely buy again!

I was lucky enough to secure a sample of the Scalp Solutions Balancing Shampoo and Conditioner. After just one wash my hair felt smooth and sleek; even when completely wet! Having used a few times I've seen a noticeable difference in the texture of my hair and seen great results post heat styling too. Be interested to see the differences over a longer period of time. Worked through hair using the scalp brush which was great to ensure it was really evenly distributed!
