Beautiful bedding set. The colours are really lovely and the patterns really stands out and looks stunning. Quality is very good and it looks expensive. It has a dark background but I like that and makes a change from lighter bedding. Got it with 20% off which makes it even better!

A beautiful quality Cotton Sateen (as all my bedding is, it's my favourite!), but so very, very dark. I would say the Blue is a Midnight Blue, ie almost Black & with Black. I didn't unfold the Set as it would have been far too dark even for my enormous bedroom, but which is East facing. The 'colours' weren't as sharp or bold in contrast as I'd expected for the dark background. It would be OK if you have a South facing Bedroom with big windows. Sadly already returned.

After years of liking light-coloured bedding with classic floral patterns, I wanted a change. I replaced all my sets with bedding from M&S, starting with their honey sets, then the beautiful teal, and the unconventional pink. They all have a 300-thread count. What I was missing was a dark set. I didn’t want cool tones, but rich and deep ones. This bedding is exactly that: the background, just like in the picture, is shaded from dark brown and navy all the way to black. Against this background is a beautiful bouquet by Rachel Ruysch. The pattern is stunning and the fabric quality is very good. For this bedding I bought a sheet in the Honey colour, because with this pattern it looks like a golden frame for a Rachel Ruysch painting. The bedding is satiny and very pleasant to the touch. Unfortunately, the quality of the stitching is scandalously poor. The stitches are loose and poorly secured. After a few washes they will certainly start to come undone. I checked all the sets I bought, and it’s the same with all of them. This is the only flaw I’ve noticed.

This bedding is simply gorgeous and is perfect for my darkly cosy Victorian bedroom. It feels wonderful too!

I love the quality of this bedding - the print is really detailed and the fabric is fab. It looks pretty luxe. One star deducted as it didn’t have the zip closure that the purple set had - this one has ties instead!

The traditional intricate sateen jacquard pattern pops when light hits it. Perfect centrepiece to my bedroom. My room is black and white and this is such a dark navy, it still works.
