Cute backpack - low functionality

This bag is cute, I bought it so it could be a daily commuter bag for me for work (laptop, notebooks, planner, etc. ), but there are a few issues. 1. There is nowhere to put things like pens, tampons, any other small item. 2. The drawstring top is very annoying to open and I can see how it would be frustrating on a daily basis. I would return it, as I was looking for a good commuter bag, but this one was Final sale.

This bag is exactly what I was looking for! I have the larger standard size 23L bag and hav been using it for years. everything from work, to a day trip to a short backpacking trip, yes!! I bought this smaller one for smaller stays, as a gift for my husband who was looking for something for short work travel and it's great. the additional waterbottle pockets are wonderful! and the size and color are what he loves!! Cannot recommend more!

hard to grip drawstring

beware backpack magnets dont stay in place and drawstring gadget is hard to grip and open and close very disappointed with purchase and exchange is not an option , very sad since i have been a loyal herschel customer for many years

Gorgeous, and durable quality! My laptop didn’t fit inside the sleeve but it’s understandable because it’s a gaming laptop and it’s quite wide. The laptop is 16 inch. Still, I can carry it inside. The pockets are functional and easy, as well as the bottle sleeve that expands with a rubber. The straps are also thick and overall, the fabric is definitely made to withstand years of use. Overall pretty satisfied!
