Worst wine ever from M&S?
No, I don't recommend this
This is truly a bad quality wine! Horrible overbearing tannin taste and zero fruit flavour - in fact zero any flavour except bitter and acidic aftertaste. I can't believe anyone in M&S actually allows this to be sold. It reminds me of those undrinkable cheap fire-water wines you got in terrible Italian restaurants in the 80s! Come on M&S, this reflects really badly on your quality values.

Elegant, fragrant and inexpensive
Yes, I recommend this
Looking at some of the reviews that some customers have given this wine confirms my suspicions that this trend for trusting online reviews is at best, unreliable and, at worst, downright damaging. This is a well crafted wine. It's light to medium ruby red and has a nose of raspberry jam and redcurrant, perhaps a little violet too. The palate mirrors the bouquet. Its lack of oak is, in itself, refreshing and the wine is balanced with a medium length finsh. There's sufficient acidity to make this a refreshing drink and, though it's still March I can well imagine drinking it in July. At the price this is a bargain. As part of the Two Can Dine, it's a steal. So why should you trust my review and not others? You shouldn't. You should try it for yourself and make up your own mind. If you think £7 is a lot to risk to try something different, don't. Go to the local shop and pay £5 for something else, safe in the knowledge that almost all of that has gone on tax and the wine you're drinking cost 20p.

Enjoyed this with the meal deal this week - fabulous! Went online to order a dozen bottles, but sadly it is out of stock. Will be keeping an eye out for it!

We had a bottle of this recently in a Meal Deal and liked it,so bought a dozen more. It’s a pleasant tasting Spanish wine, not thin and not harsh. Would buy again.

First tried this as part of an M & S £10 Meal Deal, and was surprised at how good it was. Now half-way through the two cases ordered on-line!

At first taste it was awful, however after letting it breathe for approx 3 hours it was transformed into a good session wine.

Raso de la Cruz - red
No, I don't recommend this
Raso de la Cruz - purchased with £10 offer meal. Worst wine ever purchased from M and S Tasted as if it had gone off, heavy, sour, red vinegar came to mind! Wine tasters must have forgotten to sample this one.

Undrinkable

Had this on the dine in offer, and found this to be the worst bottle of red wine I have encountered. Having drunk many cheap varieties over many years This takes the gold medal . AVOID?

Poor Quality
No, I don't recommend this
I bought this wine with the meal deal and would be very disappointed to have paid £7 for it. The wine was undrinkable had a weird smell and left a bad taste in my mouth. Not what I expect when shopping in Marks and Spencers.

Likeable Spanish red
Yes, I recommend this
Bought this with the meal deal. Had no idea what it would be like but never generally disappointed with the wines in the deal. This was true to form. Drank it very slightly chilled and really enjoyed it.

Poor quality
No, I don't recommend this
This was part of the £10 meal offer and I would hate to think I had paid £7 for it. Having just returned from living in France for 12 years, supermarkets there sell better quality wine for less than €2.50 a bottle.

Great Wine
Yes, I recommend this
Introduced to this wine via the meal deal and to be honest was not expecting much, however what a pleasant surprise, a truly great blend with a full yet subtle palate. A great addition and welcomed inclusion to the shopping basket as a wine on its own !

A quality wine
Yes, I recommend this
This is a very drinkable red. It has plenty of body and a very smooth full flavour. Works well with food, I have enjoyed it with pork and chicken and is just as good without food. It opened out nicely even after having just been opened. Bravo.
