The merino cardigan is quite thin but warm enough for warmer Spring days. Bought for wearing indoors mostly but will be nice for casual wear if out. Would have been better with a smaller size as it’s very wide and boxy on me and it hasn’t gone any smaller when washed. It has washed very well, retained shape and no bobbling up to now. It smells earthy when drying but once dry no smell at all. I’m mostly happy with it but feel that it is too wide, which doesn’t flatter my figure.

Bought for my mum to wear with seasalt dress for her 90th birthday. Lovely and soft and warm. Colour beautiful and vibrant. Given this rating as worn only once and a ladder has appeared on the raglan sleeve, do not expect this from M &S. I am returning to store for exchange.
