I have many M&S traditional pyjama sets for different seasons, purchased over many years, and these are of a very similar quality to my previously purchased ones, with the same cut / styling. The cotton softens after washing and is cooler in hotter weather.

A disappointment really. My husband does not like the way the PJ bottoms cling to his legs. I had thought that 100% cotton would be okay as it is what i usually buy for him. The set is reasonably well made, washes okay but needs ironing - especially around neck/collar and front fastening. Expensive too, in comparison with quality of other brands.

A bit old fashioned, but the nice, comfy to wear material makes up for that. The leg and arm lengths are a bit too long, but not ridiculously so. Overall, my hubby is very happy with these. They wash well too - no shrinkage.

I bought these pyjamas for my husband. The sizing is perfect. The reason I gave 4 stars is due to the material being thinner and not as soft as previous purchasers of the same item, also the colour was much duller than it looked on the internet. Although we did keep them I would not buy another pair.

These pyjamas are well made and the fabric is good quality. However, it is quite thick so not ideal for summer. For those of a certain age, who prefer classic pyjamas, the choice is getting more and more limited. Gone are the days of poly-cotton, despite being a lighter fabric and so much easier to wash and dry. Instead, we are forced into a second best choice.
