I’m really pleased with the look and feel of this shirt. I haven’t had a chance to wear it out yet but I’m looking forward to wearing it during the Spring and Summer months. I would recommend getting a size up from your normal size (normally a medium but the large looked and fit better).

M & S sizing...a law unto itself

The quality of these over shirts is very nice and I like that they have patch pockets at the bottom of the over shirt giving it more of a jacket feel. Sizing in this garment is problematic- in my order of clothes from M &S recently I have ranged from small to large - with this one coming up quite small across the shoulders and arms whilst normal on the chest and collar. I therefore have gone for a large resulting in a very relaxed fit in the body.

Bought this for myself (female) to use when gardening due to all the useful pockets (channelling a certain well known gardener on TV!). Like the style and fabric however the sleeves are cut really narrow, especially upper arm - even my husband who has skinny arms found them too tight, despite trying a size up.
