I was so disappointed when I collected this dress. It was really badly put together. The waist seam was no where near straight & the button strip at the front curved off to the right. Both were so glaringly obvious it made the dress look really cheap so had to return. Quality checks must have been missed on this one as all the other reviews are glowing. Material & colour ok. I purchased the Rylee sleeveless shirt dress which is a totally different material and quality good (delighted with that one). Although, I have always loved Whitestuff clothing & buy a lot. The prices are becoming too high.

This dress is NOT FULLY DOUBLE CLOTH. The colour matching is good, but I was shocked to see that the bodice and thin strip for buttonholes down the front are the only parts made from double cloth. The skirt is made of a different, heavier cotton. The heavier skirt hangs oddly and drags down the waist, causing it to appear wonky and unflattering. I guess if this doesn't bother you, you could try to hide this with a belt as they did for the model. I read and ignored the bad reviews, which I now regret. If this style appeals to you, I did go down a size (another thing all the reviewers were correct about) and the smaller size fit perfectly. I really wanted a dress fully made from lovely airy double cloth for holidays. This feels like false advertising.

I looked at this dress for a long time and really thought it would look excellent on me. First I bought my regular White Stuff size 14 ... but far too big. Sent back and replaced with 12. Just a little too big but far too long. I am 5'6" and the hem was almost on the floor, certainly draping over my shoes. Very sad as the fabric is lovely and the style is great. Maybe a little smaller all round and a few inches shorter ...

Perfect: a v neck that’s not a v neck (recent open heart surgery so careful about neckline). Elegant length to go with sandals, just enough sleeve length at my age, colour flattering, not too loud so can wear fairly often. Mint Velvet will be my go to site - oh and the dress looks amazing with last year’s lime green jacket

Lovely fabric. Just abit too long. No problem good at sewing. But really pleased with the style. Pockets are always great. Addition. This dress is fantastic for dressing up with tanned belt or what every your choice.

Lovely dress, fabric feels so soft. Its floaty and casual and puts me in a holiday mood. I think its generously sized overall. My only complaint is the length. It's too long. I got a petite even though I'm 5ft 4, and it's still lower calf level.
