Pure Cotton A-Line Midi Skirt

This skirts I bought was floor length and I was very annoyed to find you have not stocked it in different lengths.

I’ve been searching for a white skirt for ages but they are all too long for my 5’ 2” or too fussy. This looked ok on the model but so different on me. Far too much material so that it stood out from your body. It made me look enormous. Most unflattering. Had to return it. The search goes on.

Did not like this at all. Material not suitable for a summer garment.

This skirt’s perfect. Comfortable, soft, perfect length (I’m 5’ 5”), pockets and lovely fabric. Wasn’t sure about the tassels, but you always cut them off or just tuck them inside if not sure. Either way, you can wear it casual or dress it up with chunky jewellery. Very pleased

The style of this skirt was classic but the material was very strange. Much as I would like to wear sustainable cotton I thought this cotton fabric was more like a winter skirt fabric and would be too warm for a summer’s day or evening.

Lovely lightweight summer skirt. I’m 5 9 and a lot of skirts are far too long for me but this is ok coming down to mid calf. Not worn and washed yet so hopefully the coloured band will not “bleed”. As on other reviews not sure about the tassles but will see after i have worn it

Think I'll be pleased with this skirt. I love the embroidery on the waistband and think I'll brave wearing it with my top tucked in to show it off. I was worried it would make my hips look big but think it won't... The best thing is the lovely light weight of the material - it will be great for travel or for when I only want to take one skirt with different tops when I'm on holiday for a long weekend, say.

Love this skirt. It reminds me of my hippy days! I haven't washed it yet so if it's a pain to iron I might change my mind. It's very pretty and feminine with a relaxed fit.

The skirt is not as pictured online, there is a border along the hem which is quite nice. The problem for me is - well the rest of the skirt! The sort of cheesecloth fabric is double thick. Then there is a pretty thick lining inside the skirt too. It is basically so thick it's awful. Honestly, I'd be hot wearing this skirt in the winter, never mind the summer! I ordered it online and returned it immediately as I unpacked it. The ladies on the till agreed it was totally unsuitable for summer, unless you lived in the Faroe Islands or somewhere really, really cold perhaps.

I really liked this skirt but unfortunately it made me look two sizes bigger. It is very voluminous around the hips and not flattering on me. The waist fit well. I think it would suit a smaller frame, 10/12 tops.

I like skirts and was looking for something for holidays. Quality and fit are perfect and added bonus, it has POCKETS!!!

I was sent a faulty skirt. One of the ties was noticeably unravelling and I was astonished that this was actually dispatched. Returned in store where it was clearly labelled as faulty.

Whilst fitting on my waist made my hips look double the size! Very unflattering!8

I thought these skirts would be the answer to my hot summer working wardrobe dilemma. Unfortunately the elasticated waist at the back is so bulky - the desired effect of boho chic (!) was not achieved. Very disappointing and both skirts are going back.
