Pure Cashmere Dipped Hem Ribbed Jumper

I would have bought this jumper at any price. It is delightfully soft and almost too warm for where I live. I am looking daily on the website as I would like to get another for my best friend, but not surprisingly, it is sold out - shame. I had not really expected to find such a high fashion item at Marks & Spencer, will somebody please knit me another ?

The pilling on this jumper is dreadful every time I wear it I have to remove all the pilling which is all over the jumper very disappointing I do not live in the UK but wish to return it as soon as I can,

I've just bought this sweater with the 30% off & received it today. I bought a size 18 -usually buy 20 in the classic cashmere but that was sold out. It's perfect!! & the quality of the cashmere is lovely, thicker than the normal range - its more like my M&S cashmere I bought years ago!! I love it!! It's very stylish & looks good with the cashmere joggers in navy that I have! I agree with the last reviewer, I would never put cashmere into a washing machine no matter what the label says!! It doesn't like the sudden changes in temperature -I always hand wash mine. I've noticed that the label now says fabric softener recommended -it never used to & I certainly wouldn't recommend using it-it makes the fibres felt up!

I love this sweater and although I am not 100% sure I will be keeping it until I have tried it on with several outfits, I thought I would review it anyway. It is boxy in style so no need to go up a size. I am a huge Brora cashmere fan but also buy M&S cashmere and can honestly say this jumper is value for money, so soft and with the ribbing more cosy than the flat 2ply knitwear. I have seen reviews where the articles have been machine washed and subsequently shrunk or thickened. I could never recommend machine washing cashmere - it hates the really cold water pulled into the machine and any added fabric conditioner is death to it! My cashmere has always been hand-washed in cashmere shampoo in body-temperature water, rinsed and in the final rinse I add a little hair conditioner. Any pilling (normal for cashmere) can be easily removed with a cashmere comb. If I keep my jumper I anticipate it looking good for many years to come because cashmere improves with age if handled gently. Enjoy!!

I bought this with a 20 per cent off offer otherwise I probably won't have spent this much on such a casual styled jumper. The neckline is quite wide but as it's on the big side I can wear a polo neck underneath it. Haven't tried washing it yet but hope it doesn't shrink like my last navy cashmere M & S jumper did

I am not sure why everyone is so disappointed with this beautiful jumper. Quality of cashmere is as good as any I have bought and I usually buy from Pure Collection. I have washed it and it is just as lovely, so soft and so warm. I have not wanted to take it off since purchasing it and have considered buying another!
