[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warmer than expected. I really didn't think I'd be able to wear just this in 20degF with wind but I stayed super cozy. I sized up so I could layer but layering may not be needed unless it's subzero. Wish it were waterproof

Great jacket, great fit. Not tight and very comfortable fit where you can move around and not feel tight. A bit disappointed about the color however. I got the Ever Blue color Which looked like a nice kind of teal blue, but it turned out to be just a dark blue. I know it’ll keep me nice and warm on cold days. The insulation is excellent. The hood fits nicely. I like that it’s waterproof and the breathability is great. However, I don’t like whiny people and since the jacket itself in terms of quality and fit are always outstanding with Columbia I can bypass the color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wore the Jasper Ridge fleece with this jacket and it kept me warm on a cold and windy night in the mountain. Will see how it holds in the snow. Ordered a size up so I can wear a fleece or a sweatshirt under.

I bought this coat last minute for a trip to Patagonia It was excellent for warmth in general but with the extremely high winds, the hood really needed a way to cinch it to avoid it blowing off. Also needed Velcro cuffs or other way to keep things closed more. Overall a great jacket for body warmth.

This one's a keeper. A favorite go to I will wear time and time again. Light, comfortable, warm, and roomy for a sweater underneath. I'm 5'5", 125 LB, and got a Large mainly because of my chest. The pull ties at the bottom help snug in the fit. I hate when air/wind can blow up a coat. Defeats the purpose of wearing a jacket : ).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket for my spring trip to Amsterdam, thinking it would be a great lightweight jacket for rain and minor cold temps. I really had not planned on wearing it during the winter. However, I am pleasantly surprised by how warm this jacket has been. So far I’ve worn it during cold weather down in the teens, and during winter storm Cora that came through the south. It has far exceeded my expectations. I’ve worn sweatshirts or sweaters under it and I’ve yet to get cold. Granted, I’ve not been outside for an extended amount of time, usually an hour or less. But it’s done great with blowing snow and keeping me dry and warm. I’m normally a size medium and sized up to a large and it’s been perfect over my sweaters and sweatshirts. Not bulky at all, and looks great. I’m a taller build, 5’9”, and it’s got great length in the arms and midsection. I’m so glad that I bought this!

It’s great for outdoor activities and maneuvers well. Mind you I was in 20 degree weather so this was great if looking for a layer coat.
