No, I don't recommend this
I was underwhelmed to say the least when I opened the box, it was much smaller than I imagined and very dark green and dry looking. However, I have had it a week now and the small pineapple is turning more pineapple colour and it’s growing on me. I also read that if I had bought it in store it would have been £15 as against the £40 it was to have it delivered.

We were looking for a plant which looked a little unusual but needed to be safe in a home with a cat. The pineapple plant matched these requirements perfectly and we ordered one online from M&S. The plant represents great value for money and comes in an attractive neutrally coloured ceramic outer pot. Free next/named day delivery are also included. I ordered four pot plants. Three were heathy and ordinary (like this one) and make good fillers in but the Anthurium Centrepiece with Ceramic Bowl was exceptionally good.

A taste of the Tropics
This was a gift for a friend - I am living in West Africa temporarily where pineapples are as common as everyday apples in the U.K. So I felt the pineapple would link us and give a flavour of where I am ! She was delighted with it and her partner gave the verdict “cool” which she said was rare for him, regarding houseplants

Hasn’t survived despite being cared for by an experienced gardener/someone who has looked after houseplants for over 40 years and care instruction followed exactly. Overpriced.
