Peakfreak II Mid OutDry Walking Boots

Super comfortable, light and lovely color. When I was ordering I saw the suggestion about half number more and the boots were perfect 👌 size for me.

While the boots were waterproof when purchased, the waterproofing did not even last 8 months. So incredibly disappointed because they were very comfortable. But it's no fun when your feet get wet just walking through wet grass.

Boots felt great coming out of the box! They are extremely comfortable and light weight.

Very comfortable and light weight hiking boot. No break in time needed. Provided great ankle support and didn’t make my toes go numb after wearing them all day. I normally wear an 11 but sized up to a 12 based on the size chart and they fit great

Purchased a similar pair of out dry boots a month ago for hiking and they surprised me just how well they performed. Went to Acadia NP and did several strenuous rocky trails in wet conditions including scrambling over rocks, steep climbs and descents. The traction was superior. Paired with my wool blend socks my feet stayed dry even when walking along the sandy beach and through muddy bog trails! Highly recommend these for anyone who will be in wet, uneven or muddy terrain! Just a hint, I sized a half size up as I felt great all the boots ran small and it was perfect with thicker socks.

These hiking boots were all the difference in the most extenuating hike I’ve ever done. The break in needed was minimal and after a 10km intermediate hike, I took them to Costa Rica’s highest mountain, Cerro Chirripo at 3,820m (12,536ft). The hike was 2 days for a total of 45km going through really steep climbs and slopes, a very technical hike among rocks, mud, and big boulders. Traction was excellent, the heel support was awesome and the sole really protected my feet from feeling all the loose rocks on the trails. I wouldn’t have made it without these boots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time trying anything from Columbia, and these boots were so comfortable right out of the box. Despite a few reviews saying to size up either by a half or a full size, I took the chance and stuck to my true size and it was perfect. I also chose the Wide option to be safe because my feet do tend to swell when it's hot. I paired them with medium weight merino wool socks and it felt great. I didn't break these boots in at all, I didn't have time and I was eager to try them on the trail as soon as I got them. I completed a 10 mile hike in these yesterday over rocky, gravelly, dirt terrain with no blisters and no pain. I couldn't test their waterproof claim yet, but I also don't typically hike around water, but it's a nice option to have. I was a bit surprised that the boots I received didn't match the product photo completely. That pop of orange in the design is what first caught my eye. The boots I received don't have it as you can see from the attached photos, they're clear. I don't mind though, but I thought it'd be worth mentioning. Overall, I would highly recommend these boots, and I'm already thinking of getting a back-up pair or the low top/sneaker version of these. Totally worth the money, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Comfortable right away, terrific traction, waterproof, and breathable. Especially comfortable around the ankle and nice looking enough that I wore them to work the same day.

These seem comfy, and not as bulky as typical hiking boots which is exactly what I wanted. Only issue is they do not run large as the reviews stated… and now I have to exchange a 1/2 size up.

I put these shoes to the test with an 8 miles hike with rocks, water, trails, creek beds, bluffs, flat ground, etc. They are waterproof. They are comfortable around my ankles. I would readjust the laces to find the right fit. These are my first mid boot/shoe and I'm happy with the purchase. Light, pretty, comfy, but also tight on my feet when I need them to be locked down.
