Out N About™ IV Classic Waterproof Boots

I bought these a year ago and I was in love, however after very little wear during autumn last year and a couple of easy walks this year, they are already falling apart. The back of the heels have almost worn through to make holes and the rubber seals have split letting in water. This is really disappointing as they were expensive/full price when I purchased them. Sadly I think Sorel are cashing in on their historic reputation for hard wearing outdoor gear, but the quality has dropped massively. I would not trust these in cold weather or to stand up to more than light wear. They are basically a fashion shoe for posing around town in occasionally. It also feels quite irresponsible from an environmental point of view to make products that end up in landfill after a couple months. I spent the money on these assuming they would be good quality and would last me years.
