Ombre Padded Coat (3-16 Years)

My granddaughter loves this jacket. It is a good weight to cross seasons. My only comment would be that a detachable hood would have added to the use of the jacket - a little less bulk round the neck on dry but cool days and add the hood for wet days. The otherwise excellent.

My 8 year old had outgrown the padded jacket she wears on colder Spring and Autumn days, so I was looking for something to wear when her Winter coat is too heavy. As she loves rainbows, this immediately drew my eye, and she loved the look. It is slightly shaped, rather than the boxy shape of foldaway padded coats, which was a bonus as my daughter had always complained about the shape of her old coat. The hood is very big, which she likes as part of the styling. It isn't fleece-lined, as other reviewers have commented, but we chose it as a Spring/Autumn coat when you don't want too much warmth, but something to take the edge off. The colours look more subtle in real life than on the website. This is a coat that would appeal to a wide range of age groups - with the funky hood and shaping for older children, and the simple joy of colour for littler ones. A happy coat :)

I,m 60 years young.Bought this coat to wear abroad on holidays ,for cool evenings.Wanted something bright and cheerful.I,m normally a petite size 12.The age 13-14 was a perfect fit ! Both Length and on sleeves.,and shoulders.Still roomy with a thick jumper on underneath..Really good.value.Will Definately look at Children’s section again,especially in sale as some coats down to £10 !

Daughter seen it a few weeks ago n has asked for it ever seen - finally bought it and she is so happy with it

Very nice coat the colours are nice but it fitted very loosely around the bottom and also saw ruby in coronation street wearing it.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter as it just screamed out ‘my daughter’ all over and sure enough she loved it. She’s had so many comments on it as it is such a beautiful coat, a real ray of sunshine amongst he usual dark coloured coats and the grey skies. We both absolutely love the design. I do think it gets dirty easily due to the silky material- admittedly I expected more of a pvc type material but it’s actually very soft and light. Agree a with another reviewer that a fleece lining would have been a great addition, but it is lovely and still seems to keep my daughter warm.
