As others have said cannot read sign due to position of reindeer which blocks it. On putting away decorations after Christmas removed battery and connection which is very flimsy broke so no does not light up!!!!

Lovely-looking decoration. Actually bigger than anticipated, even having read the size in the description. The biggest problem was the reindeer standing right in front of the sign so you couldn't read it, especially as it is printed with the current year. Why ? Now, I know you don't need to be able to read it, but my logic says that if there's writing, you should be able to see it. Seems a bit silly to have the reindeer covering it up rather than, say, standing behind the sign, thereby giving the decoration all around interest.
