Newton Ridge Plus Leather Walking Boots

Very comfortable and soft. Walking 4-5 mi a day. Very highly recommended product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and very comfortable. Pretty true to size I got the 6.5 and they fit perfect. Great for constant wear. Only down side is that they crease near the toe and it can be bothersome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third pair of Newton Ridge boots. I work as a park ranger in the national parks, so I wear brown hiking boots every day. These are comfortable and waterproof. I do order a slightly larger size so that I can put orthotics in them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had these boots for almost a year now… and they have worn down so much that I’m getting blisters on my ankles and it hurts to walk in them. They were great for the time they held up but not even a year and I need a replacement? I’m getting cracks in the shoe and the part around the ankle sags and doesn’t truly fit around my foot anymore

Gorgeous, well designed boots to replace my Merrells. I was delighted to have found walking boots in half sizes! Unfortunately, however they came up small, so I’ll need a size 5 after all😄.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like this hiking shoe. Merrells were much better. This shoe was hard and painful to break in. After broke in they are still not comfortable. Not great for long hikes or all day wear. They do keep your feet dry but also very cold during winter hikes, even with a couple pairs of socks. They do last awhile. I have had mine for years and haven't had to replace them yet. I might anyway, just because I would like something more comfortable. If your shopping for a hiking shoe, I would pick something else. There are way more comfortable hiking shoes out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these on Sep 2022, they are part of a whole lot of other boots I have, I have been using these recently and frequently. One day at the supermarket, my laces got intertwined between both boots, and I almost fell, the other day as I was getting ready to go down the stairs it happened again. After those two incidents, I have been very cautious, and make sure I tie my laces properly. Today it happened again, I they got hooked on the other shoe and I fell in the sidewalk, hurt my knee and hand. I will never use these again, nor give to any one since they are extremely dangerous to wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this specifically for my Greenland trip and it did not disappoint! I was afraid I would slip and fall on ice but I felt assured with the grip of this boots while hiking. I love the marionberry color!

we eloped and hiked all day so i ordered these in white to wear with my wedding dress. aesthetically, they were perfect. so cute & exactly what i wanted. i read they didn't require much of a break-in period, so i didn't do much before wearing them on our big day. i definitely didn't wear the right hiking socks (we ordered fun socks to wear instead) and got a couple blisters. but that was from the non-moisture wicking socks rather than the boots. overall, they were very comfortable. i wore them for about 8 hours and we were basically walking/standing that entire time and my feet only got a little sore. even the next day, my feet/legs were not sore. so i would definitely recommend them!!

These shoes are THE worst. I tripped so many times as the shoe lace of one shoe gets stuck in the hooks provided to hold the lace in place of the other shoe and immobilizes both your feet completely. Today, I finally tripped hard enough to twist my ankle and completely sprain it on a hike. I’m bed ridden as I’m writing this, my Utah trip is ruined. I’m beyond angry.

these are my go to boots for work around the farm.EXCEPT they really are NOT very waterproof. they are comfortable, sturdy, supportive, you can wear them for hours. BUT when just walking my horses out to their pastures for less than 200’ over a mowed grass field by the time I get 4 horses out my socks are WET!! They seem to have a barrier inside the boot that is maybe meant to keep your feet dry but it really doesn’t work! I have bought at least 4 pairs of these in the past couple of years. the longest ones kept dry for about a year, the most recent ones for ONLY 1 MONTH!! Come on Columbia!! You can do better than that!!
