sadly the lipstick was loose in its case - I had to put the lipstick back and clean it up due to it dropping straight out of the casing. having said this it is a small neat product which fits in bag or pocket. It is smooth and creamy to apply and looks very natural.

Overall the lipstick quality is quite good and lasts well. Not too matt which I prefer. However, the peony colour is not as bright as expected and dulls on the lips. I find I have to add another colour to lift the shade.

Didn't live up to the promise
I didn't like this at all I'm afraid, it reminded me of the cheap lipsticks that I had as a teenager, and it was very drying.

The peony shade is flattering on me with blue eyes, blonde hair and fair skin with a blue undertone. It is a dark semi matte pink without the silvery shine that makes me look ill, but it doesn’t have a drying texture. I hope M&S continues to stock this reasonably priced lipstick.
