Checked Slim Leg Trousers

Sizing comes up small. However they are so lovely. Soft,smart and comfortable.

I love the look of these and they are great for standing up. Unfortunately when you sit down, or go upstairs, or try and bend your legs the trousers don’t move. A stretchy trouser would have a bit of give, a looser trouser would slide up and down as necessary, but these seem to be lined with a sticky material that makes them quite difficult to move around in.

The material is very good quality and the style is good too. Size 10 short, which I normally get, was far too short and tight around the waist. I then ordered a size 12 these would have been perfect but the top of the legs ballooned out like jodhpurs so they were returned. What a pity you could not get the sizing right as these would have been a lovely pair of trousers

Far too small on waist (as others have said). Please have some consistency as other slim fit trousers fit perfectly

They did not suit my wife very well, on a thinner person they would probably look great. She did not like the fit.

Lovely pair of trousers, really good quality with nice soft thick material and a flattering fit. I wear mine with a skinny rib jumper and shoeboots for a smarter look or dressed down with a T-shirt and pair of trainers. Would definitely recommend!

I was worried about ordering these having read the reviews, however, I was very pleasantly surprised. Unlike several of the reviewers I found them just about true to size (very, very slightly on the larger side of ‘true’, not on the small side as some reported. The fabric is lovely and they hang well. I’m 5’ 5” and ordered them in the long length (I’m not a huge fan of ankle grazers), and they are a perffect length for me in flats or heels although, to be fair, I’m short bodied with long legs!! Would recommend these either for general wear or for office. Very pleased with my purchase.

I absolutely loved these trousers, I read all the reviews and noted that some mentioned an inconsistency in sizing but that did not deter me from trying them out for myself. I found the quality excellent on every pair I tried. they were all made with the same warm, soft and beautiful fabric at a very affordable price. The colour combination looked really good. . However, after 3 tries at trying to find the right size for me I have now resigned myself to not actually owning a pair. Whatever size I chose I could not get a right fit. I am really disappointed. All I needed was a size 12, regular length trouser made in the usual M&S sizing .

Likes the material and style but - tried on a 10 in store and much too big. Ordered a size 8 and much too small. Returned to store. The same thing happened with another pair of trousers - sizes completely unacceptable. Please M & S sort out your sizing - never used to have this problem. A size 10 sweater I bought was twice my size too.

I am very pleased with these trousers, they are good quality, value and fit perfectly.

Loved the pattern and quality of these versatile trousers. Emerald green stripe so on trend and great with jumper or blouse of the same colour. Came up small so size up. Short length great for petite women.

Lovely trousers great fit. Please can we have them with blue or pink stripe. Green is not my colour

I love these trousers and they are a perfect fit. Pleased they are a slightly thicker material as it is autumn/winter wear. The smooth material on the inside is nice against your skin. I tried on 5 other pairs of check trousers and these were my favourites.

I am very happy with these trousers. They are a good combination of colours, fit well and look smart. I bought the Long as they are now the right length as I do not wear ankle grazers. Thank you M & S.
