I bought long length so they fitted as straight jeans. Eva ( which I wear regularly) were too tight on the thigh. These have more thigh room but rise up the leg a fair bit when sitting. Not washed yet. Fabric is firm, light stretch.

Great jeans however....
These jeans are a great option if you're not tall enough to carry off the wide leg styles. However, the variations in size and length of the supposedly same size jeans means I have had to return pairs and try the jeans on in store to get ones that fit. Other reviewers have mentioned this too. Please resolve this issue M & S as the jeans would otherwise undoubtedly warrant a 5 star review

Comfortable jeans
These jeans are wider in the leg and generally larger than I expected. I've previously bought M and S Sienna mid rise straight leg jeans. These are completely different. I do like them but it's a different look than I expected. I'm 5' 8" and the 'long' jeans are ankle length on me.

I like my jeans very much, I just wish the shape of the leg was not spoiled by the thick hem/seam on the inside of the leg. It makes the inside of leg stick out, spoiling the shape at ankle.

Having been pleased with the fit of this style I bought another pair in black. The label in the back said āwideā not āstraightā and so I decided to try them on before removing the labels. Iām pleased I did as the button on the waist came away in my hand completely just opening them! Didnāt get as far as trying them on and they will be returned asap.

I had purchased a pair of these jeans in dark denim and the fit was good. So I thought I would get a pair in lighter denimā¦.. same size and length. Well couldnāt get them fastened and the length was shorter. How can this happen to the same type of jeans?
