Lid doesn’t fit very well
No, I don't recommend this
The lid on this sugar basin does not seem to be perfectly round. Either that or the sugar basin is not round, because they do not for together very well. I have decided to return it because it would not be a pleasure to use. Expensive for what it is.

Bought to replace our old maxim sugar bowl but the lid on this new design doesn't fit securely and just rests on the top. This is not an improvement on the old design and had to return it. Disappointed

This is a replacement for a Maxim sugar bowl which had a chipped lid after being dropped. The design is so much better on the new version. The lid on the older model wobbled about on the bowl and never sealed the sugar in properly. This new design has a better fit and is therefore more hygienic. I also like the simple lines of the newer design.

Arrived broken so unable to review fully

Although received in a huge cardboard box with three cups and saucers which were very carefully wrapped, this item, which was not wrapped as carefully, arrived broken and was therefore returned. As I was informed that I could not reorder from the section I had returned it to, I reluctantly accepted a refund as I had a bad knee and could not be bothered to cross the road to the other store where I could have reordered!!! I really liked the design and may reorder the next time there is a discount offer.
