Not right for the price ! Sub £30.00 !!!
No, I don't recommend this
This wine used to be really good, but this new vintage is very tannic, maybe too young ?, might need a year to improve, but I am not sure...little fruit and acidic...

Lovely Margaux
Yes, I recommend this
This is a lovely Margaux at a great price. Needs a little breather before drinking to get the most out of it.

Quite toxic
No, I don't recommend this
I got a case unseen, trusting the gold label version of old, mentioned in other reviews. It's horrible! It made me quite unwell. I tried another bottle, thinking I'd just been unlucky. No. Just as bad. My guess: ferrocious tannins/congeners. Perhaps, if properly stored for a decade or so, it might soften, but I can't wait that long. M&S refunded the other four bottles. Full marks for that. If tempted, i'd suggest avoid, and go for the Saint Emilion instead. MUCH nicer (and cheaper).

Not the Margaux it used to be
No, I don't recommend this
M&S used to sell a Margaux with a gold label and it was fantastic and worth every penny. This replacement is watery, has no body and completely lacks finesse. I would avoid at all cost, even if it was only £5.

Don’t buy this
No, I don't recommend this
M&S used to sell a Margaux at this price with a gold label and it was worth every penny. This stuff is tasteless, watery and not a patch on the Margaux they used to sell. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely outstanding drop

Bought a bottle instore for a chilled out Thursday night. The supple elegance, with delightful aromas made me wished I had bought more. So I ordered two cases the next week. Now that's Christmas wine sorted.
