Lyocell Rich Short Sleeve Jacket with Linen

The material of this jacket is a bit stiff and despite washing it, it still is. The gold buttons look a bit cheap and tacky - so I have changed them for interesting buttons from my collection. On the plus side, I really like the shape and length of this jacket and already know that I will find many opportunities to wear it.

Very nice contemporary shape, dresses up jeans in the summer and shoulder season, esp with a kitten heel. Oversized fit so shape holds even if you size down (it does run large across the shoulders; I’m a size 12, bought a 10 and it’s still v roomy). Fabric has a slightly synthetic sheen to it but on the flip side, holds its structure well and doesn’t crease too much.

The jacket is generous - I bought (and returned) a size 22 and 20 and kept an 18. I might have got away with a size 16 but didn't have time to try again. The lining doesn't quite fit the hang of the jacket so needed steaming and pressing. It's a good length and shape for trousers, and I liked the sleeve length which is sometimes hard to find in a smarter jacket. Overall a good buy but suggest trying several sizes.

Stylish jacket that will be great for cooler evenings. It does have a bit of an 80’s kind of look to it, I probably had one just like it back in the day, but I like it! It will be a very versatile addition I’m sure.
