This towel’s GSM rating is 650 GSM. GSM stands for grams per square metre and indicates the weight and density of the towel. Our towels range from 450-800 GSM. At the lower end of the scale, 450-600 GSM signifies a lightweight towel: good value and quick-drying, with added benefits such as low-twist yarn to make them feel more like their heavier-weight counterparts. At the higher end of the scale, 600-800 GSM signifies a heavier, more luxurious towel. The pile in these deluxe towels is denser and more lavish. Towels at the lower end of this range are great for everyday use, while those at the higher end resemble the towels you’d find in a luxury hotel.

Lovely towels

Bought these in the sale so excellent value. They are really heavy so you can tell they are quality towels, yet so soft to touch. They are more of a salmon pink than the picture indicated but they still look superb in my bathroom and I'm very pleased with them.

I ordered these in various sizes in white, lovely quality and really really soft, and lovely brilliant white in colour, only negative was one of the guest towels has a snag in it, I will cut this off and hopefully it will be ok, haven’t washed them yet so can’t really comment on that but I’m sure they will wash up lovely as all the towels I have are M&S and all wash great.

Lovely colour, shame about the quality

I purchased bath sheets, bath towels, hand towels and face cloths. Beautiful nude pink colour, very soft hand feel. However, upon washing and drying as instructed, the banding near the towel edge becomes all puckered and shrinks, thus spoiling the appearance and meaning the towels will not lay flat. After three washes, the colour has faded considerably and the towels quite frankly look old and worn. I really don’t feel these are worth the price at all, and I am very disappointed to have wasted a fair amount of money on towels that now look worse than sets which I bought over 10 years ago. They’re also not particularly absorbent compared to other towels of this thread count.

Really great towels. I bought a guest towel and flannel for downstairs washroom. Towel is quite small but ok as a hand towel. Love the quality...labels are quite large but can easily be removed.

Why did I order online?
No, I don't recommend this
As I had a 20% discount I went for the most expensive towels but, while soft, they are not very absorbent. Also, the hand towels are not perfect, they already have loose loops and strange lines across them. Of course I can't be bothered to send them back, get a refund etc. I've just learnt (once again) it's better to buy in store where you can check the quality.

I bought it online and it wasn’t quite the colour I expected. I haven’t washed it yet so although I said it washed well this is a hopeful review. It is expensive for a guest towel but it does have a lovely, soft finish. I wouldn’t recommend it due to the price of £10 (although it is now reduced to £8 but still expensive).
