Sickly sweet lumps of sugar with 1 nice exception
No, I don't recommend this
Acceptable (barely) chocolates. The only truly nice ones are the cocoa dusted truffles. The rest could best be described as lumps of sugar with various textures and a hint of chocolate or hazelnut flavor. Too sickly sweet. Unless you are a dentist looking to increase your customer base I would likely not give these as a gift. The sweetness of the various pralines simply overpowers any delicacy of flavors and makes the end result not too different from an industrial chocolate bar from the corner shop. I really wish M&S would take this to heart and reconsider the composition of those pralines, as there is definitely potential there. The lemon granache filling of one of them is almost there, but again any citrus notes are brutally bludgeoned by a heavy handed use of sugar. The cocoa trusted truffles are the only truly excellent inclusion in this set and give a glimpse of what could or might have been had a less sugar obsessed chocolatier been in charge creating this collection.

I can’t comment on quality as I sent them as a gift. I was kept up to date with delivery, with a pic of box left at door as no one was at home. I would use M&S for sending a gift again.

I received these as a goodwill gesture after contacting M&S after not being fully satisfied with my flower order for Mother's Day. Anyway, these were excellent chocolates and were shared and enjoyed by family members. They would make an excellent gift!

Once again you completely cocked up a simple flowers and chocolates delivery order. After I complained, you sent the chocolates a few days later then refunded the cost for the chocolates. Didn't refund the £5 charge for a "nominated delivery day" though, did you ?? Not sure I will use you again. Lessons learned.
