Defective glass shade

I bought two Luna light fittings, I paid an electrician to fit these, they are gorgeous up, but unfortunately I've walked into my living room today and small fragments off glass were lying on the floor and the glass has broken lying on the inside off the shade? It appears like the glass has broken from the inside. I rang customer service, who said I'll have to return the item to the store for a quality control check. These fittings are also no longer in stock. I'll now have to pay the electrician to take both fittings down to return to store to check for a refund.

Bought in the sale at a good price. Didn’t realise no bulbs required as integrated led but Should last 25000 hours. If it does it’s proved to be a bargain. Good powerful light that is dimmable. I’m very happy with it and have bought additional for another room

I do love these lights, they look great and give a good light - I hadn’t considered this when ordering as u can’t replace the bulbs (this also means if the bulbs go u have to replace the entire fitting. They say light for 25000 hrs so fingers crossed, as hubby will not be happy at having to replace the fitting again) I was disappointed that when we came to fit the light one of the glass bulbs would not screw on. Therefore I have had to return the whole fitting and order a new one and hope they fit this time. M&S would not send out a replacement globe.
