These are decent chinos, the material is very soft but they also tend to be quite long-lasting (from previous experience). But the sizing is way off. What M&S sell as 32" chinos have a waist closer to 35" or 36". I buy these then have to have them taken in. Be aware the waist band sizing is about 4" bigger than stated. The leg length is approx correct.

Thicker than expected
These trousers were slightly thicker than expected and the length was actually longer than the 29inch ordered. Will be o.k. for winter wear.
