He's been looking for a really good priced pair of leather brogues for a while and there are others much more expensive on the high street. These appear good value, sturdy shoes and the tri-sole adds a bit more style. Burgundy colour is lovely and can be worn with either his blue or grey suits. He has an issue with his feet swelling so would normally be size 9, wide fit, but bought in size 10 and wearing around the house for a while to break-in. So far, so good.

Mark46 08-05-2023 10:32 Sizes??? I bought 4 pairs of these shoes for a wedding and only one pair was the size it said on the label. We ordered on line so didn’t get to try them on. A size 9, for my son who’s always a size 9, was more like an 11. Really good shoes but try them on first!

The soles are already showing signs of wear and the patter on the soles is most irritating as it picks up tiny mud particles and deposits them when dry a perfect replicas of the pattern simply evcerywhere! My wife curses the day I bought these shoes, which, by the way are, indeed, quite comfortable. I looked for wide fit. I should have been more cautious of the price!

The only downside is that the leather uppers are quite stiff and therefore would recommend wearing around the house for a while to break-in.
