This is very flattering and a beautiful colour. The leaf pattern is effective as the they are blue changing into white, not a stark white on blue. Only 4 stars as the button spacing in the bust area could be better, there is a slight gape from the side. I bought a 16 and overall fit and length is excellent, apart from this. I hadn't realised it buttoned through, thought just a visual effect and it does fit over the head. It's not a big enough problem to return and certainly doesn't warrant going up a size, would be huge. My husband says it's not noticeable and he is very quick to criticise any poor fit so am trusting him! Not yet worn but looking forward to when weather warms up.

For once, the seam does not go horizontally from back to front. This dress front enhances the bust with a few tucks and upwards diagonal seams complementary of the V neck. Dress is also slightly tapered on the sides and then flows away, much more feminine than typical cotton summer dresses "sacks". However, I have not washed it yet.

I really wanted to like this dress but the buttons do not lie flat and too little material has been allowed for the button fastenings so the whole thing gapes. Fit is good on top , I am a size 16 but there is too much fabric in the lower part of the dress. Fabric a bit itchy. Will be returning.
