Pleated Midaxi Skirts

Let texture and movement take the lead with our pleated midaxi skirts. This longer silhouette gives folds plenty of space to make an impact, whether they fall in neat, uniform lines or create something altogether more dramatic. The result? A shape that feels elegant, with plenty of movement built into every step.

Pleating is where things get interesting. Expect modern midaxi skirts with fine accordion folds that ripple as you walk, crisp knife pleats that create sharper lines and asymmetric arrangements that play with direction and volume. You’ll also find intricate detailing such as pin-tucks round the waist, adding subtle texture before the fabric releases into a fuller shape. Floaty chiffon makes pleats feel almost weightless, while heritage checks and graphic prints take them in a bolder direction. For a defined silhouette, explore our high-waisted skirts.

Wondering where a midaxi hem actually falls? It occupies the sweet spot between midi skirts and ankle-skimming maxi skirts for a longer line that still shows a hint of ankle. Try yours with ballet flats and a fine knit for everyday plans, switching to a cami and heels when you’re dressing up. Prefer shorter proportions? Mini skirts put more focus on the legs. On warmer days, our women’s summer skirts make a breezier alternative.

There’s more than one way to create an interesting silhouette across our skirts. Choose A-line skirts to achieve a shape that flares gently from the waist, or opt for a versatile wrap skirt, which uses overlapping panels to change the lines. On days when you need to feel comfortable, elasticated-waist skirts dial up the ease.
