Women’s Crew Neck Cardigans

Crew-neck cardigans make light work of refined layering. Wear yours buttoned to the top in place of a jumper, or leave it open over a blouse or tee when you need an extra layer. For an easy off-duty combination, add women’s straight-leg jeans and women’s ankle boots. Going smarter? Team a neat-fitting style with a midi skirt, or slip one over a crisp women’s white shirt or blouse.

Fabric can completely change the character of this classic shape. Look out for our Air Yarn styles that have a light, airy feel that works well between seasons, as well as breathable women’s cotton cardigans suited to warmer days. When temperatures dip, turn to luxurious cashmere cardigans for women and cosy wool knits. Prefer a pullover? Our women’s crew-neck jumpers keep the same neat neckline without the buttons.

There’s plenty going on beyond classic block colours. Our women’s crew-neck cardigans include crochet-style stitches, fluffy textures and cable knits, alongside embroidery, animal prints and timeless stripes. Piped trims and gold-tone buttons add a smarter finish, and Fair Isle patterns come into their own during the festive season. Let statement designs take centre stage by keeping the rest of your outfit pared back.

Play with proportions, too. Cropped cardigans for women sit neatly at the waist, women’s short-sleeved cardigans lighten things up and long-sleeved cardigans for women provide extra coverage when the weather turns cooler. For cardigans with a crew neck that slot easily into your wardrobe, choose versatile women’s black cardigans or an understated navy women’s cardigan.
