Fabulous smart casual trousers. Easy pull on style for effortless dressing with stitched on front seam making them great to wear with a smart top as well as cosy jumper. Lovely fabric that keeps its shape after all day wear. I have 3 colours.

I bought the tan coloured trousers, size 8 regular length which were just right for my 5’6” height. Only gave 4 stars as they had no pockets which would have elevated them I think. Nice material and will go with several blouses that I’ve bought recently.

Much thicker trousers

I was quite impressed with the thickness of the material, much better for the winter. Years ago I used to buy long length, then changed to regular because long seemed longer, now these are becoming longer in some styles. I wish M&S would give the actual length instead of short, regular etc. another problem is the width of the bottom of the trousers, these measure 12” across, but others still described as wide vary from 11” to 13”, I order online and I don’t want really wide legged trousers.

The material was quite heavy which is OK for the winter. However despite buying the short/petite length they were about an inch too long. As they had a stitched in crease down the front it would not have been easy to take up so returned. M&S lengths are so variable

Comfortable and warm, but I do find them just a tad too long. (I’m 5ft4 with a 30inch inside leg), so they’ll need to be taken up if I want to wear them with flat/flat-ish shoes. There are no pockets in these trousers, which is a disappointment for me.

Stylish and comfortable
Trousers are a nice shade of brown. The waist is comfortable. I am 5’1” and the short length is good but needs a medium heel. They hang well and are flattering on. Haven’t worn them much or washed them yet. If they wear well I will be very happy.

The fabric and the style are great. BUT. They felt off when worn. Turns out one leg was over 1” wider at the bottom of the trouser leg. Being returner tomorrow as unfit for purpose.

I love the style of these trousers, and theyre super comfy, however my only issue is that after one wear (from 8am- midnight) the back of them have already bobbled so they won't last long :( not worth it.
