Our cotton commitment

We’re proud to say that 100% of the cotton for our clothing is sustainably sourced, and always will be. When we achieved this in 2019, we were the first high-street retailer to do so. Learn more about our partnership with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) below

Why BCI is so important

All over the world, farmers growing more sustainable cotton are benefiting from the real economic, social and environmental advantages it offers and they’re starting to genuinely feel those changes. None of this would have been possible without the influence of BCI. When you see the BCI logo on our products**, you can trust the cotton has been sourced with these values

HOW IT WORKS

**The Better Cotton we use is a mix of different cotton fibres sourced via the Mass Balance system, which means while a single yarn can’t be traced from farm to finished piece, the fabric is still classified as sourced more sustainably. This system allows more farmers and businesses to access sustainable methods and fabrics. This doesn’t apply to trims and threads
