Loving the Max 3
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After struggling to fall in love with the Hyperion 3, this Hyperion Max 3 completely stole my heart! The fit is snug around the angle and midfoot, but not tight, and the toe box leaves room for splay. First run in them had me feeling all kinds of energy return, bounce, and easy transitions. I liked the Max 2's, I love these.

Super dependable and reliable

Hyperion Max 3
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I have really enjoyed these shoes. I wore the Hyperion Max2 as my previous daily runner, and these have the same vibe going on based on feel, comfort, support, weight, etc. I was hesitant to get these because I saw one negative review explaining that they were completely different than the 2s, and I am happy I did not let that one review persuade my choice. Great daily runner, training for a marathon now and just finished my 18 mile run yesterday in these shoes, still feel incredible the whole time!

Good Shoe do not like how the heel drops into the inside when running
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hyperion Max 3 is a good race shoe. I like it a lot only one thing I do not like is that the heel seems to drop in more on the right shoe than the left so it kind of throws you heel inward. To correct this I run on the balls of me feet more and that helps but I would like a wider heel box so I do not have this feeling.

Race Day Shoe-A New Marathoner's Best Friend
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I just ran my first marathon in the Hyperion Max 3! For context, I ran my marathon in 4:11:22, I am 5'11" 173 pounds. I had done all of my speed work training in the Hyperion Max 2 this year and really enjoyed the feel of them so I was excited for the next evolution of the shoe. Because I did all of my long runs in the Ghost Max 2's, the weight of the Hyperion Max 3 didn't bother me, as it was heavier than the Hyperion Max 2 but lighter than the Ghosts by a significant margin. This is NOT a stability shoe. The stack height is very tall so if you're a little worried about ankle stability, stay away. But if you want to go fast and have a shoe underneath you that can help propel you forward as the miles drag on in a race, I really loved this one. The laces are softer than the Max 2 so you don't have to worry about hot spots or tightness there. The rocker underneath is aggressive and propels you forward in a really nice way. This shoe is not carbon plated, but has a nylon plate so if you're looking for something less aggressive than a super shoe with some super shoe benefit, this might be a good option for you. I love these!

Great for someone who doesn’t need a stability shoe.
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes feel fast, which is fantastic. The cushion is plush, and the look is so sweet. My problem though is I need more of a stability shoe for running and when I ran with this, I felt like I was going to roll my ankle just about anytime I wasn’t on perfectly flat open concrete. All of that to say, if you’re somebody who needs a stability shoe, follow the ratings that Brooks provides on their products!

Feels unstable
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable shoe. Very light for the amount of cushion you get. The DNA Gold foam is very responsive and has one of the best energy return feels out there. I love the sock fit upper, fits very snug and isn’t bulky or hot. My biggest complaint is the cut out on the outsole. The location makes this shoe feel unstable and makes me feel like I am fighting an aggressive pronation. This causes me to unintentionally alter my stride thus leading to poor form. Love the shoe, just wish that cutout was more centered to provide a bit more of a stable feel

#Winning!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These have been amazing! I wear them running and in recovery mode. I was doubtful at first given the thickness, but stuck with them. I love them. I have several pair of racing shoes and recovery shoes from Brooks, Adidas and Craft. For my recovery shoes, these are the #winner hands down! I would never give these up. My feet would not be happy with me if these were not in my rotation!!

Exactly what I wanted in a plated trainer!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE these. I have a different brand of played shoe for races but wanted a plated trainer that I could do long runs and training runs in. These were exactly what I was looking for. The cushion is perfect without being too heavy. They are fairly stable even with a high stack height. The plate provides a great bounce. There are small details like a padded lace area (where the tongue would be expect its a sock type upper) that really make them extremely comfortable. Longest run in them was 20mi and I have nothing but good things to say about them.

In Love With These Running Shoes!
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves these running shoes. He has about 50 pair of running shoes for all different mileage and these are his long distance running “go to” shoes. We just ran the Marine Corps Marathon and he wore these… not one single complaint. He loves them!

Greast new flashy, bouncy, speedy shoe
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the foam and the responsive bounciness of this shoe. They feel peppy and quick when you need to up the tempo. The bright color for the mens style is great, but I would love to see additional flashy color options for the womens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first super trainer I ever bought and it delivered. I felt much faster doing long and shorts due to the carbon plate. Cushioning was consistent too. Only real complaints are the padding on the tongue and a slightly restrictive toe box. However, I feel that I got my money’s worth and then some.

Bring back the Max II

Heavy and hot. Not sure if I’m keeping them. I really loved my Hyperion Max II and am honestly a little disappointed in these.

Solid trainer
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
Fits a little snug. Feels very bouncy. Have only used it for road runs so far, sure it would be fine for treadmill also. Very light, mesh on the top, so it’s nice for Texas heat. Just wish it came in more colors, mostly neutral. I don’t wear colors a lot, though I do like the orange/coral.
