The Hastings bunkbed is of a very substandard quality. wood is extremely soft. The paint is terrible and chips at the slight touch. The bed is also extremely creaky and does not inspire any confidence when the children move on it. There are much better options elsewhere for a similar price. This review has been moderate by M&S twice, so I can't tell you actually how bad the bed was.

I bought these for the grandchildren, and they love them. Very cosy. My only problem was that it was not clear how to get the mattresses, but got there in the end. It is great that they deliver and assemble the bunks.

Really good value bunk beds. Very sturdy and perfect for a small bedroom. There was a small manufacturing fault which affected the paintwork. M&S offered us a partial refund which we were happy to accept. Nothing that one of my grandsons ‘lorry stickers’ won’t cover up!

Not very strong …. Really move and creak …. Child on the bottom bunk gets woken up during the night by our other child sleeping on the top bunk! Also wakes me up most nights as it’s so loud! …. We had a real issue with getting these also…. Delivery was pushed back by 8 weeks!!

That despite the photographs ( and the price) there are no mattresses included! Also no mention of that in the literature!
