M&S Table
Happy with the table only had it a short while but looks sturdy and wipes clean easily. To have had the corners slightly rounded would have helped as we have each bumped into one of the corners and been bruised. Hopefully we will be more careful ❗️

**Avoid this cheap imitation table**

I saw this table on display and instantly fell in love, it looks absolutely stunning, however, as we all know, looks can be deceptive! To cut a very long story short, I purchased this table along with the matching four chairs. The first time we used it was at Christmas, so we extended the table. This is where a problem occurred, the bracket that holds the legs together had come away from the table. An assessor came to see the table, and concluded that it was a manufacturing defect. The table is imitation oak, it is veneer. Please do your research before purchasing, if you need to extend the table on occasions, I would advise you not to purchase this table.

The table legs are lovely, the table top is not. The table top looks plastic. The colour is an ash grey colour not a wood colour. Trying to return both table & chairs and table just not attractive wood colour.

A lovely stylish table, but the matching chairs have a defect. We have found cracks in the paint on the chair back panel; M&S won't replace the chair because it is 2 years old.

We purchased this beautiful table in December 2016 and are extremely pleased with both the style and quality of the product. The marquetry style top is especially nice and we have had many compliments since receiving delivery. It is strong and sturdy and we have ours fully extended in our dining room with eight chairs comfortably seated round it. Like one of the other reviewers we personally did not like the matching chairs and have matched the table with high backed cloth covered chairs. It looks stunning! We also purchased the matching Greenwich console table and are similarly pleased with that too. Both highly recommended - especially when the 20% offer is on.

I never thought I would say that furniture looks beautiful, but this dining table really does. It is very stylish and elegant. It is a rather large dining table, and yet it does not look cumbersome and obtrusive in a dining room, mostly thanks to thin, yet sturdy legs. It is very functional, and we like that you can fit 2 dining chairs sideways, without hitting legs constantly. The surface of the table is gorgeous. We can only hope it will age well, as we would like to enjoy it for a very long time. (The only downside is that we didn't like chairs that go with it, and it is a bit of a struggle to find matching chairs somewhere else. But, we will get there, I am sure.)

Dining room furniture
No, I don't recommend this
We took delivery of the whole dining room suite January 2014. Firsly, a couple of buttons fell off the chairs, which now squeek. A drawer on the sideboard was not glued to the dowel and fell off and now we have noticed that three out of four of the dining table legs have split right through. We had a assessor come to have a look this morning and has sent a report saying we have a clean and tidy house and the table is not near excessivee heat and the legs should be replaced. We don't have pets, are a retired couple who look after the things we have. This furiture looks beautiful but I'm afraid to say it's substandard! What happened to Marks and Spencer quality?

A wonderful, delightful and solid dining table. I just LOVE it. I can't stop looking at the actual design of the table top. With the lovely veneer colour, with it's very slight, light grey added grey detail provides this piece of furniture with that added feel of there being something different about it. The table extension is excellent and I love the storage space, which is provided underneath the table itself, is just a wonderful addition to this piece of furniture. Thank you Marks and Spencer's, a wonderful dining table.
