Ghost Max 3 Running Trainers

The first time I walked in these shoes, my pain disappeared! Within two weeks I bought another pair that were just as effective, so I ordered a third pair. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are great! I am a walker, not a runner. I have rheumatoid arthritis in my feet, so it makes walking challenging at times. The Ghost Max 3 are just what I needed. The cushioning and support on these, are helping me so much. I can walk miles now with very little, to no pain!

The toe box seems wider on these and I have to lace them up tighter, causing a wrinkle, but aside from that they feel very similar and I don't notice the difference. What I like best about the Ghost Max is the stability but without clunkiness. I have scoliosis and my hips are often a little out of alignment which causes all kinds of other stuff so having shoes that feels supportive yet light enough and springy enough to enjoy running and walking fast in is key.

The Ghost Max has been extremely comfortable for long distance walks and standing for extended periods and they’re cute too.

I have been wearing Brooks for 9 years now, first the Glycerin and then the Ghost, then Ghost Max. I loved the Ghost Max 1 and bought myself the Ghost Max 3 when those wore out. I wear a wide and shockingly the wide in the Ghost Max 3 feels too roomy. I have tried a number ways of tying the laces to help them fit my foot nicely, but nothing has worked and I feel that my feet are either losing feeling or getting achy within a short time of wearing. I'm now looking to switch out for another model.
